Elizabeth Taylor Dies At 79.


Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, better known as Liz Taylor has passed away at the age of 79. The English-American star actress died today Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
According to her publicist Sally Morrison who talked to Associated Press, the screen goddess who dazzled the whole world with her talent, beauty and posh Hollywood lifestyle, died of ‘congestive heart failure’.
Taylor who is considered as one of the great actresses of Hollywood’s golden age, was born on February 27, 1932 to American parents in North-West London but grew up in New York and California. She began acting in 1941 and got her big break ten years later with the box office hit ‘A Place in the Sun’ where she played a lead role.
The multiple award winner has been married eight times to seven husbands and has five children including an adopted daughter. Taylor until her death had appeared in over 50 movies since she started acting back 1941.
