Former Nigerian world cup  skipper Kanu Nwankwo has been appointed as Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor on Sports.The Governor ,Chief Rochas Okorocha disclosed this at a special diner in honour of the former arsenal and inter milan star who formally bid farewell to football over the weekend in lagos.
Owelle Rochas Okorocha who was the Special Guest of Honour at the Kanu's Testimonial match  annouced the appointment during the gala nite .
