Air Nigeria Makes Maiden Flight To UK.


 AIR Nigeria held its maiden flight and the commencement of its official flight to the United Kingdom (UK), on Wednesday, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Speaking at the pre-inaugural flight event held at the media centre of the airport on Wednesday night, shortly before the flight, the Managing Director, Air Nigeria, Mr Kinfe Kayssaye, said the vision of the chairman of the airline was to give Nigerians an airline they would be proud of, while assuring that the management was prepared to make it rank among the best in the world .

Kayssaye, who took the gathering through the process of turnaround from Virgin Nigeria to Air Nigeria, said the airline would be a major player in aviation industry globally.
The managing director assured of good services, disclosing that the airline had 11 aircraft at the moment, with an additional one being expected by June.
"This is historic for the aviation industry and a milestone feat achieved by the chairman of the airline, Mr Jimoh Ibrahim, whose desire to see Nigerians happy made this possible," he said.
