Jay-Z And Beyonce Raise $40million For Obama's Campaign.

Beyonce promised to raise money for Barack Obama and they definitely delivered.  Donors showed up at Jay’s exclusive 40/40 club and paid $40,000 each to attend the fundraising event.  After an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, the commander-in-chief headed over to the venue to show his appreciation for their efforts.
Wearing a red cocktail dress, Beyonce told the crowd: "I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama. We believe in his vision."
That much is definitely true.  The power couple have never been shy about their political preferences and now, after raising $4 million for his campaign, they can say that they played a role in his possible re-election.
Obama took the stage and thanked them for their friendship and praised Beyonce for being a great role model for his daughters because “she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent."
The evening wasn’t completely serious, though.  The President joked that his wife, Michelle, as well as his girls, Sasha and Malia, were mad at him because they weren’t able to go to the star-studded event.  He also took a moment to commiserate with Jay-Z saying: "We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's okay."
The American leader also left the crowd with an inspirational message: "We've made history in the past and we're going to make history in the next seven weeks."
The U.S. Presidential elections take place this November.
