Senator Gemade Says He Has No Powers To Help People From His Constituency. Was He Quoted Out Of Context Or Did He Say It.

The Senator representing Benue-north east senatorial district Sen Barns Gemade has informed that he hasnt enough influence to put many of his unemployed constituents onto jobs in Nigeria.
Senator Gemade stated this while answering questions from Journalists at his constituency briefing at the NUJ, press centre Mkd this morning.
Speaking specifically on the issue of disparity of employment as it affect the Tiv in Nigeria of recent, the Senator informed that employment issues were not handled at their end in the Senate. They are, according to him a preserve of the executive and as such it is only someone with very high influence that can get them to fix their candidates onto the available jobs.
The Senator informed further that, the little influence he has, he has been able to fix about 18 persons in various establishment as follows;
1. Police-5
2. Bureau of Statistics-4
3. BSU Teaching hosp-4
4. Human Rights commission-2
5. Air Force-1
6. Fed Civil service commission-2
