A Fashion And Music Event ''RUNWAY ABUJA 3'' At ThisDay Dome.

The Runway 3: 10/11/12: The Runway presents the 3rd installment of it’s fashion and entertainment event at The Thisday Dome on the 10th of November 2012
ABUJA, NIGERIA – September 17th, 2012 – This November, The Runway presents The Runway 3 – the third installment of it’s wildly successful fashion and entertainment event, created and produced for small and medium sized fashion businesses.
Building on Runway 2: 11/11/11, last year’s sell out event, The Runway 3 promises to be more exciting. The organisers have raised the bar for participating designers, asking for more diverse and fashionable collections and designs. The Runway 3 will feature 10 designers and a mix of male and female, couture and pret-a-porter designers. Confirmed participants include Vodi, 1979, Gemini, Baldon, House of Silk, Yutees, Dzyn, Debbie African Stitches and John Frica,
The organisers are Ogwa Iweze, Halima Yunusa, Ofure Adive, Ireti Dada and Owuno “Mo Dini” Ogbeh; 3 of whom are fashion designers themselves, also participating in the show.
“The Runway 3 is a great opportunity for designers to get their talent and creativity out there.” says Ogwa “In the modern business of fashion in Nigeria, shows are key for designers to gain market share and stay relevant. The high cost of putting on a good show doesn’t work for small fashion businesses. Thats where the Runway comes in and brings businesses together to make it work!”
An exciting feature of this year’s show is a number of pre-show events, parties and mixers at various Abuja bars, restaurants and clubs; featuring models and designers from the show. These events will publicized via The Runway’s Twitter account.
Tickets for the show go on sale on the October 29th 2012 and cost N3500 for gallery seating, N7000 for regular seating, N20,000 for VIP seating and N190K for 10-seater tables. The best seats in the house are the themed cabanas at N350K, which seat 10. Ticket lines are 0815 75 75 789 and 0812 391 2124.
“It’s important for attendants to have a great time, so we expend a lot of energy on the guest’s experience” Ireti commented. “Their satisfaction weighs heavily on the show’s success”
