EFCC’s Discussion With Bamanga Tukur’s Son,Others Hits “Brick Wall.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has told a Lagos Court that its discussion with Mahmud Tukur, and other suspected subsidy thieves has hit a brickwall.
The EFCC stated this to the court on Wednesday. The parties were discussing a possible plea bargain by the suspects that would see them return a large chunk of the money.
Mahmud is the son of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur.
The judge has therefore fixed May 6 and 7 for the continuation of trial of the suspects.
Details later
