Naomi Campbell Brutally Assaulted And Robbed On Paris Street.

Naomi was the victim of a violent attack by a group of men while she was trying to hail a cab in Paris in Dec. 2012, and new details emerged on Jan. 4. Keep reading for more on her scary attack.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 42, suffered a torn ligament in her leg after she was attacked and robbed on a Paris street in December, multiples sources tell The New York Post. After she was “knocked over and robbed,” she called the police.
One source told the Post, “It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed.”
“Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up,” the source continued.
It’s unclear what was stolen, but sources believe the robbers were after her expensive jewelry.
Vladimir Doronin, Naomi’s billionaire boyfriend, quickly came to her rescue by flying her to the United States, specifically Vail, Colo.
Naomi was immediately treated by top orthopedic surgeon J. Richard Steadman, who is the founder of the Steadman Clinic and has treated professional athletes like Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
Since the investigation is ongoing in France, Naomi has not spoken about the attack to friends or the press.
The attack happened about a month ago, in December 2012, and since then, Naomi has been using a wheelchair and crutches to get around. Her boyfriend has also increased the amount of protection and security surrounding the model.

Although her agent declined to comment, Naomi herself told the Post, “I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine.”
