This transitional phase of existence called 'death' does not negotiate. If it does you obviously would not have been the choice. Your demise is not only shocking but painful. Now, I am trying hard in vain to wipe off the memories of my encounter with you. First it was while I was en route Akure about 7 years ago when we entered the same vehicle where I would discovered you were closely knitted with my little cousin, Wasem Tingir. Then later on with my wife we met on two occasions during Holy Communion Service in Mkd. You bade us farewell the last time we met at the church little did I know that will be the last in human flesh. But who are we to question what happened in the sight of the Lord? I do not want a Job-like response so would not question/query God but would rather pray He consoles your husband and your siblings and other closely related people. Its a painful exit. Goodbye Mimi; goodbye from this mundane world. For you ephemeral existence no more exists. Rest in His bosom.
Death indeed, it is the most unpredictable phenomenon which sneak in like a thief at night and snatch away people lives at will. Words alone can not express our anguish but heaven knows how painful your exist is in our hearts. May the souls of the faithful departed, rest in Peace..Amen. it is indeed sad that Mimi has left us. I pray God Almighty to grant her eternal rest,,,to her family consolation and the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Rest on.
