Prezzo's Poem In Honour Of Late Singer Goldie Harvey.

Kenyan rapper, Prezzo, who was repeatedly linked with a romantic relationship with the late Goldie Harvey, has written a touching poem in honour of the late singer, who passed on in a Lagos hospital on Thursday night.

The pair first met as housemates on the Big Brother Africa reality show and their friendship waxed stronger over the last few months, with a marriage mooted by close sources.

However, death has snatched Goldie away and Prezzo took to his Facebook page, to express his sadness and loss.

He wrote:

"God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be
So he put his arms around you, and whispered come with me
With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away
Although we love you deeply, we could not make you stay
Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us…
He only takes the best"
