House of IyZaiah is the invention of Akua Serwaa-Sarfo, a Ghanaian designer based in Canada/UK. Her love for fashion can be dated back to her early childhood where she used to draw and sew designs for her dolls.
What was initially started as a sophisticated women’s clothing line has now branched out to include an accessory line for both men and women. Originally called IyZaiah, the fashion line underwent a few changes and is now House of IyZaiah.
Serwaa’s work has received an extended list of recognition over the years. She’s been featured in numerous African fashion websites and blogs including Ghanaweb, Modern Ghana, BellaNaija, Shadders and many
others. In Spring of 2011, she received an ONYX award for Entrepreneur of the year.
