SSS Parades Three Fake EFCC Officials Who Attempted To Defraud Governor Suswam Of $3 Million.

Three fake Economic and financial Crime Commission officials  (EFFC) have been paraded by  Department of State Security (DSS), Benue State Command  for an attempt to defraud Governor Gabriel Suswam of $3 million.

The fake suspected EFCC officials are   Mark Gbaa, Bulus Ashon and Nuhu Bawa.

Parading the suspects at the DSS command in Makurdi ( today )yesterday, the DSS Director, Mr. Rasheed Adediran said two of them were intercepted at the government House while the prime suspect, Mark was later arrested in Jos, Plateau State.

He disclosed further that during investigation, it was discovered that the man who sent them was Mark Gbaa, an indigene of Tombo Village, Buruku Local government area of Benue State.
He told newsmen that Mark had sent Bulus and Nuhu to come and collect the said money from the Governor to help him (Suswam) resolve certain unresolved cases he had with the EFCC.

The DSS Director explained further that Mark who initially gave his name as Nasir Nasama and his other accomplices posed as EFCC officials adding that they were already helping the command in the investigation.

He revealed further Nuhu is an employee of College of Technology, Pankshin while Bulus is a Mobile Policeman with the 44 Police Mobile Force, Abuja.

Speaking to newsmen,one of the suspects , Mark  Gbaa admitted  even though  the said amount was 3million dollars,  he did not pose as EFCC official but as a Consultant in Conflict Resolution insisting that the other two suspects were privy to the whole deal.

For any fraudster to come up with such, they must perceive him as very corrupt.
