Miss Kwaghdoo Kakaan Emerges 2nd Runner Up At Miss Africa Uttah Pageant.

Kwaghdoo Kakaan was born in Benue State, Nigeria, West Africa. Today, she represented her home country Nigeria. She arrived to the USA when she was only 11 years old. The two events in her life she considers most important was coming to the United States and also being accepted into a prestigious University such as Brigham Young University. Kwaghdoo attended both middle and High school in Washington DC. In High school she was the debate team captain and she also graduated 2nd in her class (salutatorian). She hopes to graduate college with a degree in Exercise Science and go onto medical school. The three words/ phrases that best describes Kwaghdoo are down to earth, caring and ambitious. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, dancing, hanging out with friends and watching/playing soccer. Her platform for Miss Africa Utah is to help raise awareness to people in Africa specifically women who aren’t educated and are forced to stay home and raise children instead of getting a job to help their families. The cycle has to be broken and in order to do that, people need to be aware of the situation and try to help in some way. Since the youth are the leaders of tomorrow.
Miss Ghana was first runner up at the event while Miss Somalia was the winner to clinch the title of Miss Africa Uttah.
