Rivers State Commissioner For Sports Shot By Unknown Gunmen In Port Harcourt.

The Rivers State Commissioner for sports Mr. Fred Igwe has been shot by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt.An official of the sports ministry who spoke on condition of anonymity said Fred Igwe is receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

Confirming the incident, Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command Angela Agabe said Fred Igwe was attacked along Eleme, Akpajo road in Port Harcourt.DSP Agabe said men of the Rivers State Police command are on the trail of the gunmen.
