The 10 Commandments For Flawless Make-up {And You Don’t Need to Buy A Thing!}.

1.    Do not sleep in your make-up.

2.    All make-up brushes are not created equal. You get what you pay for.

3.    Make-up brushes do not clean themselves—you wouldn’t wash your face with the same towel for 6 months, right?

4.    Use a moisturizer or foundation that has sunscreen—we ALL need protection from the sun.  Yes, ALL of us, even women of color.

 5.    Make sure your foundation matches your moisturizer—if your foundation is water based then your moisturizer should be water based.  Don’t moisturize with oil and then use a water-based foundation or it will not stay on.

6.    Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! And don’t forget about those lips!

7.   Drink water. And when you are done drink some more.

8.    Keep your hands to yourself—and off of your face.

9.   Dry skin girls—just say no to all powders (creme blush /bronzer is your friend)
