University Admits Youngest Student Ever,11 Year Old Carson Huey You.

At age 11, Carson Huey-You is the youngest student to attend the Texas Christian University.

The boy genius is a first year Quantum Physics student, taking calculus, physics, history and religion for his first semester.

Of his first day at the university, Huey-You said: “It was overwhelming, exciting and fun.”

After finishing high school at ten-years-old, Huey-You’s impressive high school marks secured him a place at the university. Dean of Admissions, Ray Brown, said he was in awe of Huey-You’s intelligence and talents. During his admissions interview, Huey-You played the piano and showcased his ability to speak Mandarin, the official language of China.

Huey-You’s parents, Andre and Claretta Huey-You, said they were proud and supportive of their son’s decision to attend university. Andre is a former pilot, while Claretta is a stay at home mother.

Huey-You is expected to graduate in four to five years’ time. His mother said she first noticed her son was gifted when he was three-months-old. His strong ability to focus caught the eye of an optometrist during an appointment. According to Claretta, her son could read books by age two, do sums at three and was on par with eighth grade leaners at age five.

He attended the Accommodated Learning Academy, a school for gifted pupils, which has 16 teachers and 55 students. Forty percent of learners from the academy graduate early.

The Huey-You family has another prodigy in its midst. Seven-year-old, Cannan, is currently in the eighth grade. He is likely to complete high school at age 13.

So what do child prodigies do for fun? Carson and Canaan enjoy playing with friends; basketball, swimming, video games and being active.
