Former Beauty Queen Nike Oshinowo Welcomes Twins Via Gestational Surrogacy.

The 47 year old beauty queen/entrepreneur welcomed her twins via a gestational surrogate in the United States of America.
Gestational surrogacy is when a woman (surrogate mother) carries and delivers a child that is not genetically related to her. That is, the surrogate carries a child that was conceived using eggs and sperm from a couple or from donor eggs and sperm.
Wanted to get more info before posting. So here's what I found out. The former beauty queen welcomed a set of twins - a boy and a girl, via surrogate a few months ago in the US. Nike and the twins returned to Nigeria on Monday September 30th. The twins are Nike's biological children but was carried and birthed by another woman - something like what Giuliana and Bill Rancic did. The identity of the children's father is currently unknown but there are indications that Nike bought sperm from a sperm bank in the US. Nike already has two adopted children. Congrats to her.
