Aminu Tambuwal Re-Affirms His Loyalty To PDP.

Despite the current minority status of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives and plans to effect a change in its leadership, Speaker Aminu Tambuwal on Tuesday said that he has no plan to abandon his party just because it is in crisis.
Rather than abandon the party midstream, he prefers to remain in it to help fix its problems as that is the hallmark of a politician with principles.
Tambuwal spoke to journalists at Akamkpa, Cross River State where he visited on Tuesday stating categorically clearly that he remains a staunch member of the ruling party.
The Speaker said he has no plan to defect from it now or in the near future, adding that one of the qualities of a good politician was the ability to weather the storm.
