2015: Northern Youth Warns Jonathan Against Suswam

A coalition of northern youths has said the Benue state governor does not have the pedigree to be elected as senator in the 2015 election.The youths under the aegis of the Northern Youth Patriotic Front said the governor has not performed credibly in his eight years as governor of the state.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, the spokesperson for the youths, Abdiljamil Haske said Suswan has lost political relevance in the state due to his dismal performance.

He also said the governor’s certificate scandal is still hanging on him and as such cannot contest in 2015He said, “We are all aware of the certificate scandal involving the governor. Besides, the governor has failed to win the confidence of Benue indigenes who voted him into office in 2007. He has failed to provide job opportunities for youths. Schools in the state are always on strike and the same man wants to contest for senator. We wonder what he will contribute at the hallowed chambers.

The youths also warned that the desperation of the governor to remove the serving senator a statesman that is doing good to the people of his constituency spells doom for the PDP.
