Rivers State Commissioner Of Police And 13 Other Police Commissioners Re-deployed.

The Police High Command has re-deployed 13 serving State Police Commissioners. Prominent among the 13 re-deployed police commissioners is the Rivers State Police Commissioner, Joseph Mbu.
By virtue of the transfer, Joseph Mbu now takes over the security of the FCT.

Mr. Ogunsakin of the Special Fraud Unit has been transferred to take over the Rivers State Command.
The opposition has consistently called for the transfer of Mbu. Governor Amaechi says almost all his political woes are treaceable to the arrival of Mbu as commissioner of Police one year ago.
