Letter To My Governor His Excellency Dr GT Suswam Concerning The Tiv/Fulani Saga By Ede Gabriel YoungGunz

Your Excellency  SIR,
In this life,we may have all come on different ships, but we are in the same boat now-which is this planet earth which we all live in irrespective of color, status or religious backgrounds.....which makes this problem not only for the TIV but a blow dealt to Benue as a whole......Nothing in this world of ours is more dangerous than ignorance and conscientous stupidity........He who passively accepts evil is as much involed in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really co-operating with it....History will have to record to that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people but the appalling silence of the good people.......injustice anywhere is a threat to justice anywhere.....Your silence sir, concerning the killing and maiming of our Tiv brothers and sisters by fulani herdsmen is totally overwhelming......This was not what we bargained for at the polls.......sir,the time is always right to do right...whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly...i can never be what i ought to be until you are what you ought to be..this is the interraled structure of reality.....our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter but in this case,we are not the silent ones here, but 'YOU'who all our hopes are vexed upon at this point in time.....Sir,remember the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convienence but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy......BENUE waits to know where you stand!!! DO SOMETHING...SAY SOMETIING...ACT NOW!!!!"

Yours
Ede Gabriel.
