Social Media Activicts From Benue Visit Internally Displace People In Benue.

The recent Fulani/Tiv crisis affected many people in the villages as they moved to refugee camps for fear of being attacked by fulani insurgents,the number of displaced people right now has reached a thousand,and people are helping out supplying food,clothing items,medical care etc.Our friends in the Social Media were not left out as they visited camps to lend a helping hand.This is Ukan Kurugh the popular Facebook and social media activist,he and others visited camps and i was touched by his testimony,this is what he posted on his facebook page.

When we got to the displaced people camp (idp) on the 5th april 2014,we arranged the kids on queue so we cud give them food,i saw these 2 kids am carrying, who were laying on the ground n I askd their mother why they weren't on the queue and she simply said,its two days now they haven't eaten any strong food but instead giving them breast milk they are way above so they are too weak to walk. I picked them up and went to get the food for them and dint know when I started crying along some others watching. #BENUE let's lend-a-hand as nothing is too small to give.
