Meet Nigeria's First Kid Footballers Whose Fathers Played Football.Iorfa Jnr & Imienger Jnr.

From left Dominic Jnr and Me,Right, Imienger Jnr and me.

I spotted these two talented kids in Makurdi.Dominic Iorfa Jnr and Barnabas Imienger Jnr.Their fathers  played professional  football in and outside Nigeria. They groomed their sons too.
These ones are not just footballers for local purpose,Dominic Jnr plays for an England side in UK "Wolveshamton .while Barnabas jnr is with Lobi Stars but represented Nigeria at the under 20 CHAN in South Africa,he also played in Sweden before coming home to join Lobi Stars FC.
Their fathers are coaches and all work for Lobi Stars FC.Dominic Snr sees his son playing for Nigeria one day,for now he is a British citizen but he will certainly play in a green white green one day.Iorfa (Jnr)was called up for England  under  18,he said his call up for England is the step he hopes will allow him to follow in his fathers footsteps; “My dad played at full level for Nigeria, so hopefully I’ll be able to follow in his footsteps and play international football.
For Barnabas Jnr. his father represented Nigeria at the USA '95 Gold Cup and the 1995 King Fahd Cup (now Fifa Confederations Cup), the Jnr Barns made Nigeria’s final squad to the 2014 Chan in South Africa.

Nanen’s goal for the Super Eagles in Nigeria’s 4-2 win over Mozambique at the Chan also earned him a place in the history books as father and son are goalscorers for the Super Eagles.
The father and son were coached by Super Eagles Dutch manager, Clemens Westerhof.

There are also several successful ‘father and son’ playing acts in football across the world.

English football has celebrated Frank Lampard senior and Frank Lampard junior, Harry Redknapp an
d Jamie Redknapp, Kenny Dalglish and Paul Dalglish, Ian Wright and Shaun Wright-Phillips, (whispering) Brian Clough and Nigel Clough, and, of course, Paul Ince and Tom Ince.
We are so proud of these boys and we pray foe them to succeed in this career.
