Benue Reps Member,Hon Emmanuel Jime @52 | Gives Scholarship To Benue Indigenes For 2014/2015 Academic Session.

Happy Birthday to Hon Emmanuel Jime.Member Rep Makurdi/Guma Fed Constituency.
He celebrated 52  years today.Jime dished out Scholarships to some Benue indigenes for the 2014/2015 session.His been in the House since 2007 and has achieved alot espercially through this Scholarship scheme.He posted this on his facebook page.

"‎Since my election into the House Of Reps in 2007, I have continued to use the occasion of my birthday (20th June) to announce my scholarship - The Jime Tsav Scholarship.

I appreciate the value of education in a child's life; I understand the difficulty faced by our Primary School Teachers in fending for their wards in Universities; I hear the grumbling from young Benue undergraduates unable to access meagre sums promised them as Scholarship from a State Government immune to empathy. I know these things and the more I think about them, the more I am persuaded to committing myself to all that compels for a re-ordering of our priorities. That, for once, Governance shall be about the people.‎

This year too, I offer you a chance to be a beneficiary of the Jime TSAV Scholarship Scheme where 920 Benue indigenes cut across all of the 276 council wards of Benue State shall be drawn. From every council ward shall be at least, one awardee. 

As with last year, all Makurdi/Guma constituents at the Law School (2013/2014 batch now on attachment) shall each be awarded One hundred thousand Naira (N100,000.00). 500 Makurdi/Guma Constituents in their undergraduate programmes shall each be awarded Twenty thousand Naira (N20,000.00) while 420 undergraduates from the other 21 Local Governments shall each be awarded Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00).

The application form is free of charge.
