Gov Suswam Describes APC As A Party Full Of Deceit And Falsehood.
During the decamping ceremony of thousands of APC members into the PDP fold.Suswam said APC is a party that believes in factionalism with penchant for causing acrimony, adding however, that the PDP rather than foment trouble, resolves issues amicably and basically strives to ensure rapid development of the states and country.
Obviously aggrieved by the prolonged legal battle between him and a 2011 governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Prof Steven Ugba and his opposition political godfathers, Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party full of falsehood and deceit.
Suswam had in the past three years experienced tough times in the governance of the state due to stiff opposition and series of court cases instituted against him by the opposition ACN that collapsed into the ACP.The
governor, a highly committed PDP heavy weight, said the APC is a party that is already dead on arrival and that the ruling PDP will continue to win all elections against the opposition.
He stated this over the weekend at Katsina-Ala,
He said, “This decamping is a manifestation of the collapse of the opposition politics in the state because the merger opposition party is full of falsehood, deceit and unnecessary abuse.” PDP does not abuse anyhow and it is a party that does not believe in faction but working together. The opposition party is one that makes the loudest noise and I make bold to say that PDP will win the presidency and all other elective positions in 2015.”Charging party supporters to remain united and focused, Suswam noted that development cannot strive in an atmosphere of chaos and disunity, urging the people to always employ peace and harmony in resolving their differences. He stated that any political aspirant, together with the supporters that harass and or attack an opponent would be disqualified from the race and insisted that the constitution has emanated his office with enormous powers to disqualify a candidate that errs.
