Former NHRC Council Member & Human Rights Lawyer Kunle Fadipe Assasinated In His House.

Tragedy struck the home of former NHRC member and human rights activist/Lawyer  Kunle Fadipe, early  Friday morning , 4th July, 2014 as he was murdered in cold blood in front of his house.

According to reports, the suspected killer followed the deceased to his residence at Harmony Estate at Ifako in Ifako Ijaiye Local Government and attacked with a dagger stabbing him to death in the process.

We learnt that it happened in his deceased’s residence friday morning that it was one of his children who alerted the security at the main gate of the estate leading to the arrest of the suspected killer. He is currently being detained at the Red Brick police station, Iju.

Fadipes’ residence was throwninto mourning and  the house has been sealed off while the entire family members have been evacuated to an unknown destination.

It is allerged that the assailant came from Abeokuta. He was reported to be after the laptop computer of the deceased lawyer.
