Late Ojukwu's Widow & Son Set To Battle For Anambra South Senatorial District In 2015.

The widow of late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu and his son, Emeka Ojukwu (Jnr) are once more set for battle over who flies the flag of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Anambra South Senatorial District in the 2015 election.

City People learnt that Bianca has her eyes set on the Senatorial seat and intends to vie on APGA platform. It was gathered that Bianca had penciled down a former aide to the Ikemba Nnewi, who was a Commissioner under Governor Peter Obi to coordinate her campaign.

Meanwhile, Emeka Ojukwu (Jnr) currently Sole Administrator of Nnewi North LGA and Commissioner also in the Obi administration before resigning due to irreconciable differences with his then boss, is also said to be interested in the same Senatorial Seat in the APGA platform.

Although, he has not publicly declared his interest like his step-mother, it was gathered that he had already put machinery in place to pursue his ambition, tagged, “Willie Wili Work Force,” named after Governor Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra State.

Ojukwu (Jnr) was also linked to the APGA Solidarity Movement, a group drumming up support for APGA ahead of the 2015 elections. City People further learnt that the national leadership of APGA may have decided to give Bianca an automatic ticket. It was gathered that another crisis like the one over Ojukwu’s may soon rock the family if the ambitions of his widow and son are not well managed.
