Benue Dep Chairman Wanted Over Stolen Car.


DELTA State Police Command is combing the state and other places to arrest the Deputy Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Benue State over a stolen car

Three armed robbers were equally arrested for robbing accident victims.
The Lexus 300 Jeep with registration number USL 705 HX was snatched from a Pastor in Benin City. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Roland Preston, Acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta Command, he said some days ago SARS Patrol team, while on duty at the Asaba toll gate suspected and arrested one Adim Mowete 'm' and Efe Idahosa 'm' who were driving the Jeep
The PPRO revealed that when the suspect led them to the park, one Clement Edeh 'm' said to be an agent was arrested and that he confessed that he came from Benue State with his master, one Sunday Adanu Aboh 'm', Deputy Chairman of Ado L.G.A, Benue State to receive the stolen Jeep from the suspects.
He added that Aboh escaped from the scene and Edeh was arrested while the team later proceeded to Benin City and arrested one Osato Orobosa 'm' in connection with the crime.
According to Preston, items recovered from the suspects include one Lexus 300 Jeep with registration number USL 705 HX, one Ado L.G Council official plate No. LG 02 GMU (Benue).
The suspects, according to the PPRO, are undergoing investigation at the SCID Asaba while the council Deputy Chairman is wanted.
