Enugu Catholic Priest and founder of Adoration Ministries, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka Sunday asked Ndigbo to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential elections, saying he has done well as president.

Mbaka who spoke while receiving First Lady Dame Goodluck Jonathan during the Annual Thanksgiving service of the Adoration Ministries at Umuchigbo Emene, Enugu, declared that those fighting Jonathan would meet their down fall, saying that Greatness comes from God.
He told the First Lady that APC poses no threat to her husband in Enugu, saying that people of the state view the opposition party as Boko Haram party.
The Roman Catholic Priest who said that Jonathan deserved a second term, however, berated those saying that the President must bring back the Chibok girls if he must seek re-election.

“I want to ask those saying that Jonathan must bring back the Chibok girls. Is Jonathan holding the Chibok Girls. When you, First Lady went to Borno, you said there is God oh!  They are causing distractions because they know who is holding the girls.
“Jonathan is not a kidnapper. We are giving you our support. You have done a lot for this country. You have done it with distractions. We wonder what you will do without distractions. We know what you will do. Adoration will support you and your husband” Mbaka said.
The cleric assured the First Lady that members of his congregation would vote for the President in 2015, stressing that he (Jonathan) remains the best choice for Ndigbo.
The Priest released into the air four birds (pigeons) which he said represents the North, South, East and West of the country with an instruction that they should fight for Jonathan.
He thanked Ekweremadu for his unflinching support for the Adoration Ministries saying the church would continue to pray for his success in politics to enable him continue with his good works for Nigeria.
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who invited the First Lady to the thanksgiving service, recalled that an invitation for the Harvest of the Ministry was extended to the First Lady and the  President through him when he visited the Ministry four  weeks ago and he promised to bring at least one of them.
Ekweremadu said he has benefitted immensely from the prayers of the Ministry and wished that the President would also benefit to ensure that he was re-elected in 2015.
Addressing the large crowd of Adoration worshippers, Dame Jonathan who was anointed by Rev. Mbaka, noted that there is no problem that cannot be solved with prayers.
The First Lady said she was encouraged by the determination of the Ministry and indeed all Nigerians to solve the security challenges facing the country through spiritual solutions.
She urged all Nigerians to work together to make our country a better place even as she appealed to mothers to bring up their children in a way that they know what is good or bad.
She noted that peace in the community is a communal effort that must not be left in the hands of Government alone and enjoined all Nigerians to know their neighbours and be their brother’s keeper.
The First Lady, however, donated trailer loads of rice to the Adoration worshipers while Senator Ekweremadu and his friends raised over N40 million towards the completion of the Adoration centre.
