Gov Suswam yesterday marked his 50th birthday with a dinner at the Banquet Hall of Govt House Makurdi.Suswam and his wife hosted special guests among who are the rep of the Senate President,Senate Minority Leader and Senator rep Zone B senatorial district Dr George Akume,Members of the Fed Exc Council,Governors,NASS members,State Exco members ,House of Assembly Members and other top government dignitaries all in attendance.

Award winning musician artist Tuface Idibia,Zakky Azzay and a host of other home based artists performed at the event.. See more pictures...

A mild drama ensured between Senator Akume and  someone,during his speech he acknowledged and dissed everyone that betrayed him and benefitted from his benevolence,he was harsh on personalities and this did not go down well with some people especially when he turned to face the Firstlady,those who were in attendance tried to stop the ugly scene.anyway with the timely intervention of The Gov what would have degenerated into a physical fight was brought under control Gov Suswam calmed Sen Akume down and escorted him out of the event.
