The Carters Meet The Royal Couple.

It was a night of firsts for British Royal couple Prince William and his pregnant wife, Duchess Kate Middleton. The Royal couple attended their first NBA game on Monday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where they met America’s self-appointed royal couple Beyonce Knowles-Carter, 33, and her husband, rapper Shawn “Jay Z” Carter, 45.

Prince William and Kate sat court side next to former Atlanta Hawks star Dikembe Mutombo as they watched LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers easily defeat the short handed Brooklyn Nets 110-88.

During a break in the action, Beyonce and Jay Z were led over to the Royal couple to exchange polite hellos.

Anxious royal security watched over Prince William and Kate as they chatted with the Beyonces. The burlesque singer seemed in awe of Duchess Kate, who greeted the mother-of-one warmly. Beyonce welcomed Kate to America and the two women reportedly chatted about their children. The Royal couple are visiting the United States for the first time.
