The Benue state Police Command said a businessman, Mr Ronald Mnyim, has been abducted by suspected kidnappers in Katsina-Ala. He was abducted about 8.30 p.m.on Sunday.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP John Bako, said seven gunmen abducted the businessman at a relaxation joint in Katsina-Ala.

Mnyim was relaxing with friends when the hoodlum struck and abducted him.
He said no ransom has been demanded by the kidnappers and appealed to the public to volunteer information that could lead to the arrest of the culprits.

Mnyim runs petrol stations in Katsina-Ala and Makurdi.

He is the second businessman to be kidnapped this year in the central Nigerian state.
