Tayo Faniran Makes Movie Debut In Nollywood.

Nigeria's representative in the last Big Brother Africa reality show, Tayo Faniran, has made his debut as an actor.

The model, who came second in the show, had several endorsements after the show, including appointments  as an  INEC ambassador alongside Nollywood acts, Jim Iyke and Gideon Okeke, as well as being a Payporte ambassadors. But when the camera rolled for the multi-talented entertainer last week, it was to announce his debut as an actor.

The movie, entitled The Anniversary, stars Tayo alongside Folasade Abimbola, a Theatre Arts graduate from the Lagos State University, who also co-produced the movie with Seun Okegbemiro of Dazedface Entertainment.

Written by Gbenga Etti and directed by Okegbemiro, the movie, a two-cast romantic short, tells the story of a young married couple who have problems with their relationship and decide to work at their differences and stay together.

Powered by OUCH, Wickedstones and Maryshine Saloon, the movie parades the couple in elegant fashion typical of the model, and Abimbola, an actress known for works such as Valley Between, Iphegenia finds Ayelala, Woman of Owu, We Will Live, among others.
