APC Inaugurates House 2 House Campaign In Benue State





State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, Comrade Abba Yaro, last Saturday, 14th March, 2015 inaugurated the party’s house to house campaign in the state with a call on party members and supporters to reach their neighbors with the message of change. 


While addressing chieftains of the party in Otukpo he said the APC was poised to win the forthcoming polls and deliver Nigerians from the current security and development challenges. He said house to house campaign was the most effective strategy for reaching out to the grassroots. 

The party’s governorship candidate, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom, who was accompanied by his running mate, Engr Benson Abounu, and campaign Director General, Professor Steven Ugbah, promised to replicate the inauguration throughout the state. 

He promised to provide free and compulsory primary and secondary education in the state as enshrined in the party’s manifesto and also pay salaries and pensions in addition to introducing other measures to cushion the effects of current hardship in the state. Chief Dr Ortom said if elected his administration would provide an enabling environment for the private sector thrive and create massive jobs, wealth and opportunities for the people of the state. 

One of the leaders of the party in the area, Mr Ogbe Ochekliye, disclosed that several support groups in the locality came together to launch the initiative. The governorship running mate, Engr Abounu, commended the groups for the initiative and urged others to emulate them.
