Glamodi Presents "GLAMODI PURPLE BALL" To Mark The InternationalWomen's Day Celebration In Abuja.

All is now set for the most anticipated charity event in Abuja, the GLAMODI Purple Ball, an event organised by Glamorous Mothers Development Initiative, a nongovernmental organization, to create awareness on gender issues as well as provide support for Women and Girls.

GLAMODI Purple Ball brings together and celebrates the journeys of ordinary women whose acts of courage and determination have played an extraordinary role in the history of their communities and country.

With the theme "Make it happen" women from various walks of life have been invited to stir a discourse on how to make it happen for women at the work place, home front, in business and health wise while sharing their journeys of successes and experiences to mark the International Women's Day 2015. Side attractions will include comedy, music and dance.

Why purple?

Purple symbolizes justice and dignity - two values strongly associated with women's equality. 

The Glamodi Purple Ball is set for Thursday, 5th March 2015 at the National Press Centre, Radio House Abuja. Red carpet begins 4:30 pm while the main event starts 6.00 pm.
