Hajia Maryam Abacha, matriarch of the Abacha family, yesterday marked her 68th birthday 

in a low key event at the Le Meridien Hotel Douala in Cameroon., flanked by daughter, son in law, grandchildren, family and friends. Eulogizing her mother, Gumsu Sani-Abacha said, “Happy Birthday to a great woman. My mother and mentor.. May Allah continue to bless you abundantly. Wishing you a happy birthday full of love, joy, good health.. long life and prosperity.”

Born on March 4, 1947, Hajia Mariam Sani Abacha. She's the widow of the former Military Head of State, Late General Sani Abacha, who died in June 1998.see more pictures.
