D’banj Joins Usher, Mary J Blige, Others For World Earth Day Event InWashington.

Nigerian Pop Singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, D’banj will join a host of other renowned Global Citizens for a special event to hosted by Will.I.Am on April 18, 2015 in Washington DC at the Washington Monument Grounds to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Earth Day,

Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day.

D’banj will join Usher, Fall Out Boy, Mary J. Blige, Train, and Common as special guests at the event.

An excited DB Records Boss took to instagram to share the news, he wrote, ‘Wow… it is a great honor to be called upon for the Global Poverty Project in Washington DC on the 18th of April, #GlobalCitizenEarthDay Let’s Take action to Protect our Planet and it’s People’.

The event is  scheduled to coincide with the spring meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day will bring together global policymakers, finance ministers, environment and development NGOs, industry executives and high-profile artists.
