Mark Congratulates Ortom ------Wants Him To Be Father To All..

President of the Senate Senator David Mark has congratulated Governor-Elect of Benue state Dr. Samuel Ortom over his victory at the last Saturday's polls.

In a statement signed by Paul Mumeh, Chief Press Secretary to the Senate President,Senator Mark in the congratulatory message to the Governor-Elect praised him for his tenacity and doggedness through out the electioneering period.

The Senate President implored the Governor-Elect to be magnanimous in victory "as the father of all citizens of Benue state".

Senator Mark stated:"I heartily extend my congratulations to you and your Deputy -Governor -Elect Chief Benson Abounu on your victory at the election. I urge you to be father to all citizens of Benue irrespective of political party affiliation.

" I am confident that you will bring your wealth of experience and administrative acumen to bear in the administration of the state for benefit of all citizens."

He reminded the in-coming administration to initiate and promote pro-people projects in order to earn the respect and support of all citizens .
