Super Eagles Stars Congratulate Buhari

Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile and Obafemi Martins have sent a congratulatory message to president-elect of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari defeated incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan with over two million votes, the first time a sitting president will suffer defeat via the ballots.

The AS Monaco left back took to his twitter account @EldersonEch to pass his message. 

“Congratulations to our president-elect @ThisIsBuhari, you kept the fight and believed.”

In the same vein, Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins posted a picture of himself and Buhari @Obafemimartins, as his own way of rejoicing with the president-elect.
