Several FIFA executive members were arrested in a dawn raid at a luxury Swiss hotel on Wednesday as part of an investigation into alleged “long-standing corruption”.
According to reports, among those arrested were two vice presidents of FIFA, the Uruguayan Eugenio Figueredo and Caymanian Jeffrey Webb Jeffrey Webb.
