Gov.Ortom Raises Alarm Over Fake Facebook Accounts Defrauding People.Read His Statement.

 Benue state Gov Samuel Ortom has too many facebook accounts  and groups in his name,it is for this reason that some dudes have decided to use some of these accounts to defraud unsuspecting people.This evening ,he sent out a statement to people to be wary of these people.Please read his statement after cut.



I HAVE NOT AUTHORISED FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS ON FACEBOOK
My attention has been drawn to some facebook accounts run by unknown and unauthorised persons.
The said users of these accounts have on several occasions sought to defraud unsuspecting people of various amounts in my name.

They say I demand payment of bank expenses before disbursing loans to those who make a deposit.
I wish to inform all that I have not authorised any person to transact any financial business through Facebook or any other social media platform on my behalf or in my name.
All members of the public are therefore advised not to patronize the Facebook imposters who are fraudsters.
I have directed my Special Adviser on Media and ICT to put out this notice.
