Nigerian Footballer David Oniya Dies In Malaysia

Nigerian Footballer plying his trade in Malaysia, David Oniya is reported to have died after he collapsed on the pitch during a friendly match.
David, 30, a defender with the malaysian club side T-Team and Kelantan collapsed three minutes into the match in Kota Bharu and was taken to hospital.

The match was however abandoned after 60 minutes when a message was received from the hospital that Oniya had died.

Sources say T-Team CEO Syahrizan Mohd Zain claimed the player did not receive medical treatment quick enough
Oniya was just in his first season with the Malaysian club
