Pictures From Rotary Club Makurdi District 9125 Visit To Old PeoplesHome In Makurdi.

Members of Rotary Club D9125,Makurdi on Sunday 28 June visited the Home for parental care of the old.
The home managed by Centre for Parental Care of the Old and Vulnerable(CEPACOV) in Makurdi.Benue State was founded by Lady Theresa Atser Iwail in February 2006.



CEPACOV is in place to identify with the old and vulnerable who are despised and negleted with aim to providing the shelter Love,Care,Nutrition and Health. CEPACOV also carry out ACSM activities on T.B,AIDS and Malaria with a target population of the Old(Male&Female), Orphans,Widows,People Living with HIV&AIDS.(PLWHA) and other Vulnerable people.
As good as this may sound it is however worthy to note that this organisation does not run on any special budget! Its activities are basically achived by goodwill of the Founder who is just a civil servant with little or no salary in recent times. Partner agencies and individuals have been consistent in identifying and aiding the Organisation.

The Rotary organization donated items to them and encouraged the proprietress of the place too.
