Dear Steve and Shirley, My husband is upset and mad at me because my ex-boyfriend has me as the beneficiary on his life insurance policy, pension plan and bank account.

In the untimely event that my ex dies I would get well over $500K and my husband is mad that I am allowing him to keep me on his policy. He says it devalues him as a man. I keep in touch with my ex just to make sure all is well and he is doing fine.

Shirley this man lives way across the country in another state he has no children and wanted to make I was well taken care of even despite the fact that I have a husband.

I don’t see why my husband is upset It’s not like I am sleeping with this man or having an affair with him he just has me as the person he wants to give all his money to when he passes away.

I am not going to tell this man to take me off of the policy because my husband is upset. Steve and Shirley please shed some insight? Is my husband tripping or what? He has always felt that my exes try to show him up because most of them are already self-made millionaires and I have lived a very spoiled life with my exes. I can’t deal with his jealousy over other peoples money.
