Benue State Governor Should Find Out Why Some BIRS Staffs Were Not Paid Their Salary Arrears.

BIRS Staffs who were recently absorbed into Benue State Civil Service,in some ministries were not paid their salary arrears today. I got several calls from people at home complaining seriously about this issue.


Most of the staff I spoke with especially at the Ministry of Information, confirmed this to me.

Also some relatives of those affected spoke to me, they said Accountants at the Office of the Head of Service demanded a bribe of N500 from newly absorbed staff of BIRS for processing and documentation, their failure to pay the money made the Accountants to omit their names from the PV.

This is bad, BIRS Staffs were absorbed into the civil service last year, they never received salary till today.

Please anyone reading this post should kindly draw Governor Samuel Ortom's attention to this complaints, I know he will not be happy to hear about this.
