Gunmen Kill Family Of 4 In Katsina Ala, Benue State.

Unidentified gun men yesterday killed four members of the family of one Ternongo Ajai of Gbengen community of Katsina/Ala local government area ofBenue state in their home

A source from Katsina Ala told Daily Times that the gunmen stormed the homes of the deceased on a motorbike at about 8pm and open fire killing all the family members.

The source narrated that on hearing the gunshots, the people of the community, dashed to the scene of the killing with the intent to apprehend the armed men, and also rush the victims to the hospital, but they could not do much because the victims were all cold dead and gang escaped on their bike, pretending to be chasing the murderer

When contacted, the Benue stateCommissioner of Police, Mr. Hyacinth Dagala confirmed the brutal killing of the trio, saying further that the matter was being investigated.
Dagala who said the State Police Command and other sister security agencies were working together to ensure that Benue remain one of the safest in the country, urged the people to avail the Police information that could facilitate the arrest of criminals in their neighbourhood.
