Tsav Again? Vows To Re-open Petition File Against Senator George Akume.

Former commissioner of Police, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has stated that he would re-open the petition filed against former governor of Benue State, Chief Geroge Akume.

Tsav who spoke with the Nigerian Tribune in Makurdi at the weekend said that he was ready to re-open the petition against the former governor now that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) lives up to its duty.

The former police boss who described the anti graft agency under former President Goodluck Jonathan as ‘toothless bulldog’, explained that “with what we have seen the agency doing now, it shows that the former president only tried to kill the agency.”

He averred that his petition before the anti graft agency against the former governor, now a senator, was thrown out because of the attitude of some senior ranking personnel of the agency.

Tsav said, “I still have with me authentic documents against George Akume. Some of the documents were given to me by those who worked with him then. Those that are sensitive, I have kept in the bank.

“The personnel of EFCC at a time compromised and swept some of the issues raised against Akume under carpet. The period of the former President Jonathan did not help matters. It was like he deliberately killed the agency but now that the agency is living up to public expectation, am going to revisit those petitions against Akume,” Tsav said.

Na waooh.
