Designer Behind Bandage Dress Says It's Not For 'Voluptuous' Women 'With Prominent Hips'.
Love it or hate it, the bandage dress is a familiar staple on red carpets, runways, and in the House of Kardashian. But one of the designers behind the body-con dress, Herve Leger’s UK director Patrick Couderc, is tired of certain kinds of women wearing the dress.
In an interview with the Daily Mail Couderc advised “voluptuous” women and women with “very prominent hips and a very flat chest” to avoid the bandage look. He continued to lament that the bandage style had become popular with reality show stars, adding that he “refuses to give free dresses to celebrities if they are judged to lack sufficient class.” He could have stopped there, drawing haute couture’s familiar lines at body shaming and class disdain.
So people like me can't wear Bandage dress or what?
