Sen Lawan Refuses To Be Part Of Senator Saraki's Delegation To Meet Victims Of Boko Haram Insurgency.


Senator Ahmed  Lawan has refused to be part of the delegation constituted by Senate President Bukola Saraki to visit Adamawa State. The 8-man Senate committee with the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu as leader and Lawan as a member, was constituted by Saraki on Tuesday to meet victims of the Boko Haram insurgency in in the North.

Lawan, who contested the Senate Presidency with Saraki, refused to accompany the committee on the trip on Wednesday.
While other members of the delegation led by Senator Ekweremadu left for Adamawa State, Lawan stayed back at the chamber. Lawan, a third term senator has been keeping mum since Saraki emerged the Senate President.
