Senate President, Bukola Saraki Inaugurates Senate Committee On Rules And Business.
Senate President Bukola Saraki today inaugurated the Senate Committee on Rules and Business which is the heartbeat of all legislative activities in the Senate.
The Committee which is to be chaired by Senator Babajide Omoworare has the big task of guiding the Senate on the application of our rules in order to maintain orderliness and progress in the activities of the Senate.

The 8th Senate is aiming at using lawmaking to open the economic space for investment, businesses to thrive, employment to be life and ensure that good governance is achieved across the length and breadth of our country.
The Rules & Business Committee has been charged to think outside the box and to take lawmaking to the people through creative interventions.
We have a vision of changing how the National Assembly conducts its business. We will ensure the laws we pass are meaningful to Nigerians.
We have confidence that all members of the Committee - Senators Babajide Omoworere, Ali Ndume, Barnabas Gemade, David Umaru, Uche Ekwunife, Joshua Lidani, and Kabir Garba will discharge their duties with responsibility and probity.
